Kathie Murtey is the Organizer for our Soul Circles and Meditators. She is retired from a career in Orange County Government. She has been a volunteer activist most of her adult life. Laguna Niguel, CA has been Kathie’s home for 40 years. She is the mother of three adult daughters. She is the founding member of four non-profits. She is a member of the AZ Council of Grandmothers. Kathie was raised in the Mid West and came to California to teach elementary school. She became committed to ending hunger and abject poverty in the 1980’s. She traveled to India with The Hunger Project, attended the 4th United Nations Conference on Women held in Beijing, China in 1995 and the 3rd International Peace Conference in Dallas Tx. "Imagining women as equally valued decision makers all around the world in partnership with men" is the Why behind most everything Kathie does and is what gives her clear, intentional direction in her retirement.
Liz Lafferty Was one of the strong voices that helped launch s2sWalk. She is peaceful, provocative and playful, A life long student of personal evolution. Liz is a visionary at heart and an entrepreneur by nature, she brings both the art and science of change to everything she does.Creating dynamic organizational results led to Liz receiving both the California Woman of the Year Award and President Bush's Point of Light. She founded 3 nonprofit organizations and is the creator of two of the most enjoyable CDs. Trained in Excellerated Learning Techniques©, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Life Coaching and Personality Styles. Liz pioneered the introduction of Elegant Regard™ in the workplace. She has a degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco. I AM exploding with excitement. . . to me sole2soulWalk is a learning community on the move. Bring people together to deeply immerse themselves in evolutionary conversations and events to shape the future. Together we're evolving humanity's story. Accelerating the comprehensive participation of women—for the survival of our species. Now people are showing up from everywhere; excited and deeply moved to do this wonderful thing. Marilyn Nyborg is our networker extraordinar! Marilyn has been a spiritually based activist since the ‘60’s beginning with the civil rights movement. In the ‘70’s she turned her focus inward and began the journey to wholeness, integrating the masculine and feminine within and examining the unconscious attitudes and conditioning in her personality.Recognizing the need for women to find their voices and claim their power, she began in the early ‘80’s to work through women’s circles and activities to bring feminine wisdom to bear on the world. In 2002 she became a co-founder of Gather the Women. In 2009 she initiated a conversation about the major loss throughout civilization at the repression and degradation of women’s wisdom and contributions. This led to the birth to Women Waking the World. Marilyn is a visionary, an initiator of creative ideas. She fosters new thinking, connecting the dots between people, ideas and projects. Marilyn lives in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains in Northern California. She is dedicated to creating a world in which her grandson Dane can express his sensitivity and broad range of feeling without being seen as weak and her granddaughter Kayden can speak from her heart and her mind without being seen as overbearing. |
